Paper Samples -
Antalis & Arjowiggins
The task for me is to promote colours from a select range that Antalis produce, I chose Curious Metallics.

Their range of natural wove papers and boards is designed to bring a sophisticated metallic shimmer to premium print and packaging.
Now with the addition of 15 subtle new colours, they have a palette of 30 colours with which to work, from cool Aloe and Aquamarine to Night, a black as dark and deep as obsidian.
Most printing techniques can be applied to the Curious Metallics papers and boards. It is always worth doing some tests first, as for example when litho printing in most cases the ink adopts the paper shine. Due to this, colours may not be matched exactly. For example; blacks tend to be less dense and shadow detail may be reduced. These effects can be used to your advantage creating a subdued, yet elegant feel.
These papers will require much more ink than a standard coated paper.
Curious Metallics

I chose this colour range of Cyrogen White, Night, Super Gold & Iceberg as these are very strong metallics that show a variety as well as aesthetics with a glistening shimmer to premium print and packaging.
